Why Loop?

How are we different?

  • Our certification is consumer first. Designed to be consumer facing, end-user can check themselves the validity of the certification by scanning a QR code.
  • Requirement for the company getting certified to have full traceability of their input materials – all our competitors lacks this extremely important requirement.
  • The above two put together, it means that the end-user has easy access, via a QR code, to the proof of the recycled content % of the product they are holding.
  • Standard written to ease the job of the auditor: no reference to other documents. In comparison, our competitors reference up to ten (!) fully binding documents.
  • Seperate certifications for Product and Packaging. Product is the most used, whilst Packaging is almost exclusively used for Fast Moving Consumer Goods, FMCG.
  • Granulatity of certification. The Recycled Content Certification has with ten possible grades for its certification. Specificaly: 30%, 40%, 50%, 60%, 70%, 80%, 90%, 95%, 99%, 100%. Some competitors have certification with only two grades: one for 5% to 95% recycled content called “Blended”, and another one for 95% to 100% recycled content which states “Recycled 100”. Clear example of misinformation to the customer as 95% is not 100%.
